Derrick Michael "MikeOhMy" Lee was an artist, writer, aspiring actor and director from Columbia, Maryland. 

Mike began rapping at a very young age, proudly crediting his mother Ms.Lee for teaching him everything he knows about the art of rap and hiphop. When I met Derrick in 2015 during our freshmen year of Frostburg State University, Derrick had already had over dozens of songs and his debut EP, "OHMY". 

After meeting in an icebreaker setting in our dorm, we immediately clicked and began working on songs and have recording sessions in my dorm room with a microphone taped to a broken mic stand that thad to be held up by hand.

Derrick was special, and a force to be reckoned with when it came to his artistry. But outside of bonding with him musically, he was a great friend. Keeping in contact after I dropped out of college, which looking back, I feel made us even closer.

Over the course of our friendship, he went on to drop multiple Ep's and mixtapes, growing and ever changing with each release. It's funny that during the 6 years we knew each other we only made two songs together ( Right Eye & Room to Grow) despite how close we were. 

I think of him everyday, and of course I wish he was still here with all of us, but this is my way of sharing him with everyone who didn't get the pleausre of meeting him.
